On paper it was Paul’s heaviest opponent in his career, but that turned out differently in practice. Soon it was no longer the question of who would win, but how long the fight would take before Paul came out as a victory.

In particular at the start of the party, Chavez was barely involved. Although in the ninth and tenth round he came dangerous for a moment with a number of striking bumps, but it was not enough to make the jury doubt. Paul won unanimously.

Afterwards, Paul revealed his plans for the future: “I just warmed up. Now come with stronger opponents. I eventually want to win the title. Hopefully I can quickly return to the ring. It doesn’t matter to whom, because I fight against everyone, everywhere and at any time.”
