The Justice House opened its doors in Ypres 25 years ago. Because the building – a former hotel – showed many defects, the services moved temporarily to value ten years ago. After two years of work, the employees now return to the renovated building.
Director Carine Dewulf emphasizes that the renewal was much needed. “The building has been completely renovated and the number of employees has now more than doubled. Our duties have increased sharply in recent years, from victim recipient to guidance of perpetrators.”
