Julien Kaiser becomes the first head of wholesale for the DACH region

Armedangels appoints a wholesale boss for the DACH region for the first time.

Julien Kaiser has been Head of Wholesale DACH at Armedangels since May, the Cologne-based clothing retailer confirmed on Thursday when asked by FashionUnited. The industry magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on the personnel.

Kaiser brings with him extensive experience in the retail and wholesale sectors as well as a sound understanding of the DACH market. He also understands the specific needs of both customer sides in order to further promote the products and the brand’s mission in retail. In his new position he supports the team of Greta Meyza, Director Wholesale.

“In addition to the brand’s strong focus on sustainability, I would also like to position Armedangels as a leading fashion brand,” says Kaiser. “My main focus is on strengthening and expanding menswear and on strategic growth with our existing partners.”

Armedangel’s new head of wholesale has been working in the fashion and textile industry for more than 12 years. According to his profile on the LinkedIn careers network, he gained his first experience as a temporary worker at the Düsseldorf fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg before working as a store manager for Tommy Hilfiger for almost four years. This was followed by a two-year stint at Hilfiger parent company PVH Corp, followed by almost five years, first as a junior and ultimately as a senior key account manager at Swedish fashion brand Tiger of Sweden. Most recently, he worked as Head of Sales at the luggage manufacturer Horizn Studios.
