We saw a nice battle among the men. Top favorite Aaron Decloedt wanted to distance himself early on, but was unable to completely release Gianni Vanden Broucke. After a few falls, Vanden Broucke found the connection again. In the final straight line he made the decisive move. He became provincial champion ahead of clubmate Aaron Decloedt.
