Rijkhoff was only allowed to participate for sixteen minutes in the European match against Vojvodina Novi Sad at Ajax’s flagship this season. He has had more success at Jong Ajax. There the counter stands at eight goals in fifteen matches.
“I’ll have to show it. Matches like last Monday against Jong PSV (4-0 win) help with that, but against Telstar (3-0 loss) it was a little less,” said Rijkhoff. Rijkhoff managed to score a hat trick against the Eindhoven team.
