Fifteen clubs of six nations participated in the Pembroke Malta International Judo Open 2025 on Saturday and Sunday. This is not one of those tournaments that attribute score for the Olympic qualification, but for all 134 athletes who competed – divided into the various age classes – it was equally an opportunity to cultivate their dreams. Especially for those five boys from Scampia who were accompanied to Malta and guided competing by Gianni Maddaloni, or Maè.
