JT Miller continues with the Vancouver Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks announced on Friday that they have signed a seven-year contract extension by JT Miller with. Miller, 29, was the team’s most efficient player last season with 99 power points.

According to the Canadian club, the star striker’s new contract is worth 56 million dollars. The contract is in the top five when measuring the monetary value of summer NHL deals. Johnny Gaudreau signed a hair over $68 million contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets is currently number one on the list.

Miller is a first-round pick of the New York Rangers from 2011. The American got to the Canucks three years ago in a trade with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
