On his X account, the libertarian troll known as “Translator Loves You”, pseudonym of the user Esteban Glavinich, indignantly shared a video uploaded by the journalistic portal “El Canciller”. The couple made up of the journalist appeared in the recording Mauro Federico and his girlfriend Stefania Indiraliving everyday situations with a good dose of humor and a lot of current politics.
For some time now, both the “Argenzuela” journalist, who this year uncovered the “Audiogate” that led to the Andis case, and the renowned influencer “The Millennial Strategist”carry out the recordings of numerous comedy sequences in reel format. An unusual duo that combines their ideological sympathy for Kirchnerist Peronism, the intuitive vocation to talk about the local situation and the mutual affection of a couple who lives together on a daily basis.
“With Stefanía we only knew each other from the networks. We had followed each other for a long time, but we had never exchanged a word in person. The first time we saw each other was almost by chance, on the streaming of Duca Citizenwhen she was a guest with her classmates Social Justice League. There we had that first crossing, very brief, and the next day we started talking on networks, now more closely,” the journalist recalled.
A week later, Federico invited the influencer to his program Wake Up on FM Delta 98.3. And in that meeting the connection between the two remained floating. Just in the elections in the Province of Buenos Aires, with the result in favor of Homeland Force, Love emerged between the couple and “from that day on, literally, we never separated again.” At a time when the inmates in Justicialism are on the surface, both the communicator and the influencer decided to bet on unity.
On the other hand, the challenge of creating content for networks together was a novelty that was immediately overcome (she has experience in virles and Federico has no problem with humor). “It flowed just like our relationship. When you meet someone who shares your values, your interests, your outlook, your passion, love, humor, irony and that desire to challenge with a simple message, one of those that you may or may not like, but they will surely make you think, everything becomes easier. Then the dynamic was not only not difficult: it was born alone. We understood each other quickly, we strengthened each other and what seemed like an experiment ended up being a very natural way of communicating together,” the couple explains.
About this dynamic, Mauro Federico detailed: “She has been working with networks for many years and, although her content is mainly political, she always showed herself with great authenticity to her community, which follows her and the bank. I, from the traditional media, also have my audience. And one day she proposed something very simple but very intelligent to me: ‘If they want us separately, imagine when they find out that we are now together’. There I understood that it made sense to mix those worlds. Not only professionally, but because our relationship also had something to tell.”
In a virtual field where digital activists linked to Freedom Advances prevail, the Peronist couple promises a future novelty of their productions. Without giving away details, the duo reflected: “The libertarians knew how to take advantage of a moment. They understood how to use the networks to their advantage and today, in addition, they have something that they did not have before: the State apparatus. The same one that they deny all the time, but whose resources they allocate to troll centers, replicators, digital spokespersons, manufactured media, content farms and everything that we already know. On the other side, however, you have communicators and militants who work purely conviction, without that machinery behind them, doing everything with their lungs and fighting with toothpicks against a monster. And even so they do very well, much better than the libertarians expected.
