Joshua Kimmich’s non-vaccination was a big issue at the end of last year. His subsequent corona infection too. Now there is apparently news from the national player.
According to “Bild”, Joshua Kimmich has now been vaccinated. The 27-year-old took part in a team evening in a restaurant at the beginning of March, for which he had to comply with the 2G regulation.
Since Kimmich was not vaccinated before his corona infection at the end of November, his recovered status was only valid for three months. Therefore, Kimmich had to have received a vaccination in order to be allowed to be present in the restaurant at the beginning of March.
Due to his infection, only one injection was enough to be considered vaccinated.
Kimmich is currently about to become a father for the third time. That’s why he’s not yet part of the national team and is training with his team on Bayern’s premises. As soon as the child is there, he will probably travel to the DFB-Elf.
