Uotinen, who has been reached by Iltalehti, says he was delighted with the tribute, even though Tubecon is a foreign prize gala for him. Uotinen admits that before his candidacy he did not know the existence of the entire Tubecon gala.
– This is probably great that such attention focuses on our podcast. It has been observed and well -founded to put it on such a candidacy, Uotinen comments to Iltalehti.
“This whole podcast world is completely new to me, and all the phenomena related to it,” he says.

Does not know if they participate
The Tubecon Awards 2025 gala will be held in May in Logomo, Turku. At this point, Uotinen cannot say if he intends to attend the gala.
– Let’s see what’s on the day that I have nothing else then, Uotinen says prepared for.
Uotinen has not had time to discuss candidacy with Sykö at the time of the Iltalehti call.
– We have a podcast this afternoon. Then there will probably be some talk about this, says Uotinen.
Also, for a potential victory, Uotinen has not yet sacrificed thoughts.
– It would be pretty awesome, the dancer admits.
Age not a barrier
Uotinen feels that podcasts are a trend at the moment. For the dancer himself, the podcast has been a huge conquest of the area and has also attracted a lot of media attention.
– It’s good to see that it is interested. These are such a bump, Uotinen laughs.

The Tubecon Awards gala is widely rewarded with social media content producers. Jorma Uotinen does not feel that social media is just a matter of young people.
– Even such an elderly person has still been good, Uotinen replies.
-Here I saw a podcast star at the age of 74, what about it. Probably most of the active people in social media are young people. At least for me, age has not been a barrier.
In their podcasts, Uotinen and Sykkö have, among other things, claimed about death cleaning, remembered the drunken nights that have been dangerous, threatened the president Alexander Stubbin style and revealed their nighttime hobbies.
