Because Pay TV broadcaster Sky announced some employees, the Jörg Dahlmann called on the scene. The former football commentator did not leave good hair on his ex-employer.
Almost four years after the separation, football commentator Jörg Dahlmann is still not good to speak to his former employer, the Pay TV station Sky. This now makes an Instagram post on his channel clear.
In the article, the 66-year-old, who recently participated in the jungle camp, sharply criticized the broadcaster. Dahlmann writes: “You know yes, I don’t like these heartless and unscrupulous Sky bosses. Of self-made and with management errors over management defects.
Background: It was recently known that the media company has given the termination of some employees. Some football reporters should also have to go. According to “digital television”, it is a “low double -digit number” of terminations.
So that’s not enough. From Dahlmann’s point of view, one should have “fired one of the bosses with his bonuses, then the little ones who had been shot could have kept their job. And then this obviously heartless dismissal culmination!”
What also criticizes Dahlmann are the subscription prices: “Now the conference will disappear from summer and what are they going to do? . ” In the associated video, Dahlmann describes this as an “absolute upper hammer”.
Sky currently offers an annual subscription with a Bundesliga package for 30 euros in the first year of contract. Then the price increases to 40 euros if the termination has not been made.
Dahlmann had worked for Sky between 2017 and 2021, commented on games in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga. His dismissal in spring 2021 had caused discussions.
Initially, Dahlmann made a controversial statement when commenting on a game from Union Berlin in winter 2020. When goalkeeper Loris Karius, at the time in a relationship with presenter Sophia Thomalla, was shown on the replacement bench, he said: “Now in Berlin he is only sitting on the bench. He has the advantage that he can cuddle at home with his Sophia Thomalla. But for such a cuddly night with Sophia I would also sit on the bench. ” Dahlmann was then accused of sexism. He denied the accusations.
After a short forced break prescribed by Sky and the announced separation of commentator and broadcaster at the end of the season, Dahlmann was again in action. In March, however, the final break with Sky followed. Dahlmann had commented on a goal chance of the Japanese 96 defender against Aue against Aue against Aue, Muroya was commented on with the words: “It would have been his first goal for 96. He shot the last in the country of sushi.” He was accused of defaming Japan and racism.
The collaboration with Dahlmann then finished Sky with immediate effect. The commentator described the procedure against him at the time as “bullying” and “unprofessional”.
