Jonas Vingegaard wins the Tour de France – Breaking Cycling news



The 21st and final stage of the organization, which is considered the most prestigious race of the road bike, was held on the 116-kilometer track in the capital, Paris.


Finishing the stage in 77th place, Vingegaard won the Tour de France with a time of 79 hours 33 minutes 20 seconds in the general classification. The 25-year-old Danish cyclist, who finished second in last year’s event, achieved his first major lap victory of his career in France.


The champion of the last two events, Tadej Pogacar from UAE Emirates finished second and Geraint Thomas of Great Britain from Ineos Grenadiers finished third.


PHILIPSEN WINS THE LAST STAGE


Belgian Jasper Philipsen of Alpecin-Deceuninck took the first place in the last stage of the tour with a time of 2 hours 58 minutes 32 seconds.


Dutchman Dylan Groenewegen from BikeExchange-Jayco team finished second and Norway’s Alexander Kristoff from Intermarche-Wanty-Gobert Materiaux finished third.
