After the detention of Fenerbahçe Club President Sadettin Saran, the board member of the yellow-dark blue club, Dr. Ahmet Murat Emanetoğlu and Fenerbahçe Vice President Murat Salar made statements.
“WE WILL COME OUT OF THIS PROCESS STRONGER”
“As Fenerbahçe, we will come out of this process stronger,” said Fenerbahçe Vice President Murat Salar and added:
“Our president’s test results were announced in the morning. Afterwards, our president tested in a more independent place and returned to the club. He had visitors. In the evening, our president was detained in the club building. Police officials came and detained our president. Our president went with his personal and club lawyers. We are following the process. We have full confidence in justice.
As Fenerbahçe, we will come out of this process stronger. As Fenerbahçe and the management, we have full confidence and belief in justice. We believe that the truth will come out. As Fenerbahçe, we will come out of this process stronger.

“WE WILL REQUEST THE TEST AGAIN”
Fenerbahçe Board Member Dr. Ahmet Murat Emanetoğlu stated that they would request a repeat of the test performed on Sadettin Saran and said:
“We are very sorry, we are here as the administration and we are together with our president. We are following the judicial process. Our president said that he has never seen such a substance in his life. In addition, our president has done a lot to prevent young people from turning to bad habits in their lifestyle and there are many sports facilities that he donated to our state. I wonder if there is a false positivity situation in the test.” A question mark arose for us. We received opinions from experts. The report was shared with us.
Urine, blood and nail tests were negative. Only the hair test came back positive. Just one positive can be considered a false positive. Things such as medications, herbal teas, and local anesthesia in ear, nose, and throat and dental operations can cause false positivity. It may also happen in case of contamination. There may be contact with someone who has used it. Many people come to visit here, and there is a lot of cheek-to-cheek contact. The results may be misleading due to samples taken from the previous person in the environment and device where the test is performed. There are lower limits to the amount determined. Our lawyers will evaluate these.
Our president came here by plane for the first time, for something he had never seen or used in his life. He asked for the Forensic Medicine test to be repeated for this substance that he did not see and did not use. He also asked where else he could do this test. So we researched and helped. “We will ask for this test to be repeated at the Forensic Medicine Department.”
