Every year many young people leave education without a diploma and that makes their opportunities on the labor market a lot smaller. “In Flanders we are currently already a figure of 9%, for our region in Kortrijk that is slightly less than 8%,” says Laurie Vandenheede of Join.
“For example, I think that the role of social media can also play an important factor in this. Young people who always feel the pressure from outside to have a good career. I think of the entire corona problems in which young people have often been isolated. “
The Join project wants to help those early school leavers on their way again with guidance aimed at what they can do and how they can reform their future.
