British actor John Nolan has died at the age of 87, reports the Englishman Stratford-upon-Avon Herald -local.
Nolan is remembered for, among other things, the Batman films Batman Begins, Knight of the night and Return of the Night Knight. He was seen in the role of Douglas Fredericks.
Among others, Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, who created the aforementioned Batman films, are John Nolan’s nephews.
John Nolan also appeared in the crime series created by Jonathan Nolan Target. John Nolan starred in the 1973 British drama series Shabby Tiger.

Nolan’s last roles included Christopher Nolan’s blockbuster film Dunkirk and a television series Dune: Prophecy.
Nolan also made a career in theater.

Wife of John Nolan, actor Kim Hartman describes the actor as “a free soul who always knew what he wanted and acted on his own terms”. The couple was married since 1975 and had two children.
Nolan will also be missed by his grandchildren Dylan and Spindle.
