It shouldn’t be a secret that Kanye West’s image suffered from his hate. But it wasn’t just there – friendships are also broken. “He had so much optimism, so much creativity,” said John Legend “The Sunday Times” on Saturday (May 10th). “Sometimes it is sad, even shocking, to see where he is today.”
Legend and West: two ways, one beginning

But now everything is different, says legend. For many fans, West’s change came out of nowhere – as well as for John Legend: “At that time I saw no indication of what we are experiencing today – his obsessions with anti -Semitism, black and blackness – and it is sad to see his decay.”
Western political closeness to Donald Trump already put on the relationship between the two musicians. “We haven’t really stood up since then. [Kanye und ich] are no longer as friends as before, ”he said in 2022.
Although he did not want to undergo west, the change after the death of West’s mother Donda began for Legend in 2007, who dedicated two albums about 15 years later. “His descent began at the time and seems to have accelerated lately,” said Legend.
