The 55-year-old man who died on Friday with his wife (54) in a traffic accident in Egypt was a member of table tennis club TTV Waalwijk. With a condolence message on the website, the club reflects the death of John and his wife Marion. “We remember John as a sympathetic, empathetic, social, involved and sporty member of our association,” writes the association.
In the place Marsa Alam, a taxi collided on Friday with a pick-up truck. The travel organization of the couple confirmed that several people were killed in the serious traffic accident, including their travelers.
John and Marion would have just landed in the country and on the way to their holiday destination. “Started together on a wonderful journey, without knowing that it would be farewell forever”, can be read in a condolence message from the funeral director.
