After two points achieved from five games, the football season at CD Castellón is already over for Johan Plat. Despite the good preparations, the flat was unable to convince the club management of its qualities.
“In the summer, six important basic players left and fifteen lower level players came back,” explains Plat. “Despite the many changes, the preparation went extremely well. That then creates many expectations.”
Personal flaters
But the Spanish club in the competition could not extend that excellent form in the practice matches. However, according to Plat, the lean results did not match the game image.
“The statistics were good, but the ball did not want to go. We made many personal flaters in the back. We earned to win in three of the five games.”
