Johan Derksen thinks that Rob Kemps is smeared: ‘Goes too far’

Johan Derksen thinks it is going too far that Rob Kemps is currently getting so much mud on him because of ‘abandoning’ his family with young children. “I find it very sad.”

Rob Kemps has been under fire for some time because of his somewhat failed TV career. One of his biggest critics is Johan Derksen, who has slaughtered his SBS 6 colleague several times in Today Inside. But what is happening now with the Snollebollekes singer goes a little too far, according to the football analyst.

Pillory

Rob is currently in disrepute because he left his wife and their very young children, according to Yvonne Coldeweijer, to run off with a background dancer. It earns him tons of criticism.

Unjustified, says Johan Derksen. He says in VI: “What I find sad about that case… It does not stop there these days: now he is also being pilloried in private.”

‘Not one k*t!’

Johan thinks Rob’s alleged cheating is a private matter. “I want to judge him on the programs he does, but if he leaves home to run off with a backing singer… That doesn’t make him a good or bad presenter. In fact, the rest of the Netherlands has nothing to do with that.”

Rob’s private concerns have also led to a spicy sneer from Angela de Jong. Johan says: “Angela is a bit on the border with her pieces, isn’t she? He sometimes overestimates himself a bit.”

TV snake pit

Incidentally, Johan still supports his criticism of Rob’s TV career. The VI star states that he is ‘going down in the commercial TV snake pit’. “Then they come up with things for him that he has no control over. A show program… What he did at Talpa, those were purely things that he did not master.”

Johan points to his performance in Rob’s interview program De 10 Questions. “If I am being interviewed by him and he has an earpiece and that lady is behind the scenes honking the questions in his ear, then I think: boy, why are you doing this?”
