Wilfred Genee and Johan Derksen have not spoken to each other about their latest argument. According to De Snor, it is ‘shocking’ that his Glennis Grace wish has been revealed. “No, we never call each other.”

Since the last big argument at Today Inside, we all know that Johan Derksen diligently types emails about how he envisions the program. He walked away from the table when Wilfred Genee teased him for the umpteenth time with his daily list of desired topics. And now Johan is teased again with a list…

Shocking

Wilfred was asked on the radio which new guests would be joining VI, and he read out Johan’s wish list. A striking name is that of Glennis Grace. She is ridiculed by critics such as Angela de Jong, but according to the VI star it is time for rehabilitation and that is why he wants her in the show.

Such a visit by Glennis obviously does not sit well with VI’s supporters, so some controversy has arisen about it. However, Johan is especially bothered by the fact that Wilfred just made his wish list public in the first place. He gave an interview to Shownieuws, in which he called this action ‘shocking’.

‘Are you looking forward to it?’

Hélène Hendriks asks Wilfred about it The Orange Winterwhere he was a guest last night to sing his pub song. “Are you looking forward to it? Are you going to start having fun again? Nice with Johan, hahaha.”

Wilfred jokes: “I find what you are saying to me now shocking, so I would be careful with it, Hélène!”

Hélène: “You didn’t call each other?”

Wilfred: “Ehh, no. We never call each other.”

Email typed

Hélène then explains to her viewers what is going on. “He had typed an email with all kinds of names and you thought: oh, I’ll just blast that on the radio, I don’t mind.”

Johan is exaggerating things a bit too much, Wilfred thinks. “It went like this: I was on the radio and they said: ‘Shouldn’t there be new names?’ I said: ‘I mentioned so and so and Johan also sent a list,’ and I thought it was a good list. Then I read the list out loud.”

“No more rose!”

According to Wilfred, there were no malicious intentions. “I think I mainly did that to make it clear to people that we like to have new people join us. Jan Joost, for example, or…” he says, looking at table guest Roos Schlikker, who publicly distanced himself from VI after the candle riot. “Oh no, that’s going to be more difficult!”

Hélène: “No, Roos is not coming anymore!”

Wilfred: “No, I think that will be difficult!”

“Glennis, right?”

Roos wonders what is going on with the Jumbo rioter. Will she come or won’t she come? “You want Glennis Grace, right?”

Wilfred: “No, that’s what Johan wants. He says it’s time for the cancellations to be over, so yes, that will be very nice.”
