Johan Derksen has been targeting Caroline van der Plas for some time, but now the influential VI mustache has completely dropped the BBB politician. He thinks she’s conniving. “Not a nice woman.”

Mona Keijzer has left the political party BBB because she was betrayed by her colleagues. It was agreed that she would become Caroline van der Plas’s successor, but that suddenly became Henk Vermeer. “A major breach of trust,” she says The Telegraph. She now continues independently as a Member of Parliament.

To soap

What disgusting behavior from Caroline, says Johan Derksen. The influential opinion maker agrees Today Inside: “It is degrading, because it is an example of cronyism, who knows who we are and backroom nonsense.”

He continues: “That Caroline has now succeeded in completely destroying her own party, because I think that public opinion is all in favor of Mona Keijzer.”

Ridiculous

Mona received a lot of preferential votes in the elections. “Yes, of course, ridiculous! More than those two together! Mona Keijzer had nowhere to go, because you should never let yourself be squeaky,” says Johan.

Colleague Wilfred Genee: “They are now doing exactly the same as what they said when they started: ‘We hate that backroom politics in The Hague, we are transparent and honest, and not like in The Hague.’”

Underhanded

Johan didn’t expect it. “It’s a very underhanded affair in Deventer. Look, Mona Keijzer was promised it, of course the man was complaining about it, because it had actually already been decided that it would be her. And then they abruptly throw this outside. I can imagine that Mona Keijzer was pissed off.”

He considers the three remaining BBB’ers ‘three weaklings’. “At the end of the song we have to conclude that all three of them are very bad politicians. (…) We never have to take Caroline seriously again. Never again. She now turns out to be no good either. I always thought she was a nice woman, but I don’t think she is a nice woman anymore.”
