Johan Derksen thinks it is strange that Anouk cannot return to The Voice, but Ilse DeLange is. “Outside the camera it is the shock of the entire music industry,” says the VI-star.
It is a bit strange: RTL boss Sven Sauvé shouted that he does not want Anouk back as a coach in The Voice of Holland because they want to work with a completely new cast, but how is it possible that Ilse DeLange will be in those rotating seats again? And not only with the normal voice, but also at The Voice Kids.
A GOTSPE
Johan Derksen thinks it is a GOTSPE, especially because Ilse, according to him, has it behind the elbows while Anouk is right in front of her turnip. “Then you have Ilse DeLange and that is really bad, huh,” he says in Today Inside.
“She has a gift of playing the cozy aunt with the camera. An alumeless dialect, a simple girl, The Girl Next through, but outside the camera it is the shock of the entire music industry. Everyone hates that bitch.”
“Got crazy!”
Ilse believes too much in himself, he says. “I will tell you: she recorded her first album in Nashville – well, those are the best studios in America – but halfway through the album it didn’t think it was good enough and she had to be flown to Los Angeles to sing things in there.”
Those people in Nashville thought that that woman had gone completely crazy, says Johan. “Yes, they have gone completely crazy there, because they said,” Ilse Wie? “
Quarrel with Waylon
Of all the arguments that Ilse has had, it is best known with Waylon. Under the duo name The Common Linnets, they were extremely successful at the Eurovision Song Contest and wanted to exploit that success in Europe after their participation. One problem: Ilse wanted more than half and Waylon thought that was ridiculous.
Incidentally, the reactions to the arrival of Ilse are generally positive, although of course she is a bit colorless, just like the new coaches Suzan & Freek. The tastemakers of the new season apparently have to become Willie Wartaal and Dinand Woesthoff, but the first cannot sing itself and you cannot understand the second.
