Löw tells funny Müller-Anecdote about the 2014 World Cup

Germany won the title at the 2014 World Cup. The opening of the tournament at the time was fine. Now ex-national coach Löw told an amusing anecdote.
The documentary “Thomas Müller – one like none” celebrated its premiere in Munich on Tuesday. Football celebrities such as Bastian Schweinsteiger or ex-national coach Jogi Löw were on site to watch the film of the Bayern icon. And the 2014 world champion coach told a funny anecdote on the “red carpet” kept in football-green, which also occurs in the film. It refers to the World Cup in Brazil, more precisely to a situation after the successful German 4-0 start against Portugal.
Jogi Löw to the journalists on site: “After the first game in Brazil against Portugal, that was a great prelude for us. We came back late. The next morning there is a piece of paper, a handwritten letter from Thomas Müller.”

Löw has kept the piece of paper written by Müller to this day, as can be seen in the documentary. There he holds it in the camera and then reads it literally. During the demonstration in the Munich cinema, the scene triggered a lot of laughter in the audience.
In general, Löw found only praise for the Bayern veteran on Tuesday evening: “Thomas Müller is an extraordinary player in every respect. If you sometimes say about other players, they can read the game, at Thomas you would say that he can feel it. ” Müller went through the youth teams of FC Bayern has been active with the professionals of the German record champion since 2009.
