Blind Channel and Joel Hokka said Hokka would leave the band on Saturday last week.

At the time, Hokka said he had had bad problems with sleeping. He has told about his union problems before.

Hokka opens now Tictory More specifically about their Union problems and other challenges.

– It all started in February 2021, when my nervous system was overloaded with the amount of fame, Hokka writes.

Blind Channel crashed in February 2021 to the awareness of the whole nation as it won the new music competition with his song Dark Side. In May of that year, the band represented Finland at Rotterdam’s Eurovision Song Contest, ranked sixth.

– I couldn’t sleep for 72 hours. Days, weeks, months passed. I tried sleeping pills, but they didn’t help.

Hokka flew a lot, traveled and was on a tour with bad dreams. Even the eating missed.

– But I managed to perform. Over 300 gigs in three years.

Hokka says he has collapsed several times.

– Until finally I accepted what’s best for me. If you are struggling with insomnia/ ADHD/ over -tuned nervous system, I understand you.

Blind Channel took a break at the end of last year.
