Ex-national coach Joachim Löw has asked for more help for pensioners. In an interview, he demands more attention to national problems.
In an interview with Sky presenter Riccardo Basile, Joachim Löw expressed clear criticism of the current situation in Germany and asked for more attention to national problems. The former national coach emphasizes the need to focus on Germany, similar to the slogan “America First” by US President Donald Trump. Löw said: “The thought, a little ‘Germany first’. I think that’s important,” as “Bild” reports.
Löw is particularly concerned about the situation of many pensioners who hardly make ends meet after decades of work. He emphasized: “I want our people who have worked for Germany for 50 years and built Germany in the post -war period, get a pension so that they are fine.”
He denounces that many pensioners live on the poverty line these days: “These people are not allowed to gnaw on the hungry cloth and do not get into major financial problems.”
In addition to the problem around the pensions, Löw also sees a need for action in the integration of people as well as in the education and health system. He demands a comprehensive concentration on these topics and finally underlines: “The problems in their own country are very, very important.”
