Jil Sander without creative director: inside Lucie and Luke Meier

A few hours after the presentation of the autumn/winter collection 2025 in Milan, Jil Sander announces the separation from Lucie and Luke Meier.

The fashion house and the creative director: “have decided by mutual agreement that this collection will be the last of its collaboration,” said Jil Sander on Wednesday. Renzo Rosso, President of the OTB Group, the Italian fashion group behind Jil Sander, thanks the creative duo for his vision, passion for excellence and his commitment to the brand.

Change at the top

Lucie and Luke Meier have held the creative direction since 2017. It has been speculated about their farewell for some time. They are also traded as a successor: on the inside for Jonathan Anderson at Loewe. Anyone who succeeds Jil Sander is currently not known.

Serge Brunschwig has been the new CEO of the labels founded by Jil Sander in 1968 since the beginning of February. The brand is represented worldwide with a network of 70 boutiques and available from more than 300 multi-fire retailers.

Brunzwig looks back on a long international career in the luxury segment. He came to LVMH in 1995 and has held leadership positions in various companies in the French group over the years. He was Managing Director and President of Fendi, President of Dior Homme, COO by Christian Dior Couture and CEO from Celine. In addition, he held international management positions at Louis Vuitton and Sephora.
