In September, entrepreneur Jethro Rostedt was sentenced to one year and eight months’ imprisonment for tax evasion.
Now the District Court of Southwest Finland is told to Iltalehti that the prosecutor has expressed his dissatisfaction with the judgment. The judgment is not yet final and can be appealed until 10 October.

Rostedt was sentenced to one year and eight months for conditional imprisonment. In addition, Rostedt was sentenced to 90 hours of community service.
Rostedt’s reason was one basic tax fraud and three gross tax fraud from 2016 to 2020. Rostedt was ordered to reimburse the Tax Administration for a total of EUR 599,238, 64 euros.
Rostedt acknowledged the crimes the day before the trial. Therefore, the trial was transformed into a recognition trial.
Rostedt commented on his bailout process on his YouTube video before the trial.
“I’ve seen how Satan is busy and how people are being treated there,” Rostedt comments.
He stated that he was not going to explain his actions.
– I take my responsibility and it is neat, said Rostedt.
