Singer Jesy Nelson, who left the band Little Mix, talks openly about her mental health difficulties in a new documentary series released on Amazon Prime, they say Daily Mail and Metro.
Nelson says that he was “really lonely” and tried to commit suicide.
According to Nelson, he tried to talk to the other band members days before his overdose. The singer says that she felt that Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall did not take into account her distress.
Nelson quit the band in 2020. The decision to leave Little Mix was made in the hospital, while recovering from an overdose.
– I was so sad. I was so down. I knew that when I got out of the hospital, mentally I couldn’t go on anymore [bändissä]Nelson says.
“We are adults now”
Nelson says the other band members contacted her again while she was expecting her twins. The British singer’s twins were born in May last year.
– It was wonderful because I never would have thought that would happen, Nelson said and said that he was moved.
– We are now grown women, we have children, and I think there are so many more important things in life. It’s just one of those things that it’s time to forget.
