Jessica Schilder has won the national title in the shot put with a Dutch record . The athlete from Volendam put the bullet 19.68 meters far at the NK athletics in Apeldoorn.
Painter has been working very hard all season long. At the beginning of June she already improved the Dutch record at the FBK games. Then she went over the 19m mark for the first time and came to a distance of 19.17m.
After the FBK games, she improved her national record in international athletics competitions in Czech Kladno (19.19) and Norwegian Oslo (19.46). So she went over that again today at the Dutch Athletics Championships in Apeldoorn (19.68 meters).
