The district court in Starnberg sentenced the German to a fine of 420,000 euros for destroying property and attempted fraud, says Swiss Blick.

The first sentence concerned the chainsaw rampage that happened a little over a year ago.

Lehmann went on a rampage with the chainsaw and cut the roof beams of his neighbor’s garage.

His neighbor had built a garage, which created a visual barrier from Lehmann’s apartment to the scenery of Lake Starnberg. The two were believed to have had a bad relationship for a long time.

The former top goalkeeper tried to black out the neighbor’s surveillance camera so as not to be caught in the act. However, the neighbor was able to watch Lehmann’s actions live.

Lehmann owns a property worth about 4.5 million euros located on the shore of Lake Starnberg.

Charged his electric car

The second sentence relates to two incidents that took place in 2021 and 2022 at Munich Airport.

Lehmann charged his Porsche electric car twice in the Munich airport parking garage. According to the prosecutor, after charging, he drove through the exit barrier right behind other cars. In this way, he saved more than 300 euros in parking fees.

Lehmann had denied all the accusations.

Psychiatric research

Earlier this year, a German court ordered Lehmann to undergo a psychiatric examination.
