Bravo announced a full investigation in April after audio from the reunion filming of “Summer House” was released to the public. Luckily, an experienced private detective was available: Jennifer Lawrence.

On Tuesday’s episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” host Andy Cohen thanked the Oscar-winning actress for providing information that exposed the rule-breaking employee behind the leak. “A Bravo superfan provided crucial clues that confirmed the source,” he said. “With the final reunion episode airing tonight, I wanted to personally thank this superfan. Guys, that superfan was actually Jennifer Lawrence…Your online sleuthing helped our team of investigators solve the mystery.”

Cohen didn’t reveal Jennifer Lawrence’s methods or name the culprit – but he did specifically praise her dedication to watching hours of reality TV on the network that pays him. “Bravo fans are the most loyal and dedicated,” he said. “Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar winner – you were top of the class.”

Bombshell at the reunion filming

The leak surfaced shortly after filming the reunion, which centered around the then-breaking news: newly divorced Amanda Batula was dating West Wilson – who had previously dated the show’s Ciara Miller, for anyone wanting to keep track of the show’s Fleetwood Mac-esque partner swap. The episodes airing at the time still showed Wilson and Miller trying to reconcile while Batula and Kyle Cooke tried to save their marriage – so the role reversal was a bombshell comparable to Bravo’s big Scandoval of 2023.

No wonder Bravo’s executives and Cohen were upset when gossip sites booted them from their own reunion. “This represents a serious breach of trust and a clear lack of respect for the cast, crew and the integrity of the production process,” a network spokesman said in April. “We take this matter very seriously, have launched a full investigation and will take appropriate action based on our findings.”

“People poured out their souls for 10 hours yesterday and it is disgusting and illegal for anyone to leak or repost this,” Cohen wrote on social media at the time. “It’s disrespectful to the work and tears the cast put in yesterday. Let the season unfold. You’ll see everything in due time.”

Lawrence’s free effort

Cohen and the Bravo bosses should now be quite relieved – after all, thanks to Lawrence’s unpaid snooping, they saved a fortune in investigative costs. The actress, who also regularly appears as a guest on “Watch What Happens Live” for free, once again demonstrated her loyalty to the station.
