Jeanneau van Beurden is by far the best political interpreter on television, says TV critic Victor Vlam. He thinks the reporter from Hart van Nederland is a real nuisance. “I really thought: wow, wow, wow.”
We have already seen the new political interpreter of Hart van Nederland appear a few times in Today Inside: 22-year-old Jeanneau van Beurden. He has just graduated, but has already reached the first place in the rankings of TV critic Victor Vlam. Which ranking exactly? Well, that of the three most attractive political commentators on television.
Huge hunk
Victor is really enthusiastic. “The number one is Jeanneau van Beurden. He has visited VI twice in the past few weeks. He has previously appeared more often in News of the Day. He works in the political editorial office of SBS. He is only 22 years old, did a very good job in terms of content, but of course that is not the point.”
He continues in his podcast Victor Indicates TV: “The most important thing is — that’s why he’s in the first place — that he’s just a huge hunk. I just can’t put it any other way: he’s really a huge hunk.”
Wow, wow, wow
It’s really someone who makes Victor a little horny. “When I first saw him, I thought: wow, wow, wow. It’s a jawline that is so straight you could put a ruler next to it, it’s a beautifully symmetrical face, it has eyes that you can drown in and it’s also well dressed.”
Who’s in second place? “That’s Sven Kockelmann’s assistant: Mats Akkerman. A nice boy. Handsome face. I’ve compared him before with a Backstreet Boy, but he didn’t take first place this year, because he apparently became insecure about that comment, because in the summer he suddenly decided to cut it short.”

Mats trimmed and bleached his hair. “Then he came back to that, now he lets it grow. Yes, if you change all kinds of things about yourself without a plan, then you don’t deserve first place. Unfortunately, he has to make do with second place. That is still very nice.”
The bronze goes to NOS reporter Jorn Jonker. “He is a bit nerdy, but he does have a nice face. If he wants to get higher on this list, my advice would be: go to the gym. Because if that suit really hides a beautiful body, then I wouldn’t rule out a rise to first place. Then a lot is still possible.”
