The collection presented in Paris was designed by a young French designer Olivier Rousteing, who is the full-time pilot of Balmain, another Parisian fashion house that enjoys a cult reputation and is a favorite of the stars. The haute couture collections of Jean Paul Gaultier’s fashion house are planned to be designed by different fashion designers, so there are guaranteed to be creative collections in the future as well.

Rousteing’s collection was inspired by Jean Paul Gaultier’s archive vaults, as the cornerstones of the collection were the original designer’s favorite elements, especially from his 1994 collection. The center featured corsets, cone-shaped bras, draping, spectacular three-dimensional details, graphic cuts and the tin cans that greatly inspired the collection.
