Jannik Sinner is setting new standards in the tennis world. The Italian star achieved record income with 100 million euros.
As one of the highest-earning athletes of the year, Jannik Sinner is traveling to the ATP Finals in Turin. The 23-year-old has earned around 100 million euros so far in 2025 – a record sum made up of tournament prize money and lucrative sponsorship contracts. On this scale, he is currently unrivaled in international tennis.
Sinner achieved his latest million-dollar coup at the “Six Kings Slam” show event in Riyadh. There he clearly defeated his long-time rival Carlos Alcaraz and received six million US dollars – the highest prize money ever paid out at the tournament in Saudi Arabia. In total, his prize money this year alone is 12.4 million dollars (the equivalent of around 10.6 million euros). And that with only nine tournaments completed so far.
Sinner’s Wimbledon victory, which was worth around 3.5 million euros, is particularly profitable. Nevertheless, sporting earnings only make up a portion of his total income. Its advertising value accounts for a significantly larger share.
Around 34 million euros flow into Sinner’s account every year through sponsorship money. The ten-year contract with Nike, which guarantees him 15 million euros every year, is particularly important. Additional bonus payments and license shares are not included.
Before the season finale in Turin, the world number two has two more appearances on the calendar: the Vienna Open (462,000 euros in prize money for the winner) and the Paris Masters 1000, where 947,000 euros will be paid out for winning the title.
In Turin, Sinner has the chance to further expand his balance sheet. If he wins the tournament without losing, he will receive over five million dollars. Even if they won the title with defeats, it would still be $2.4 million.
