The SpVgg Greuther Fürth has brought its eighth newcomer under the roof and compartment. After four years at Hannover 96, right-back Jannik Dehm changes to the cloverleaf and receives a contract until 2027. The 29-year-old Dehm changes free of charge within the 2nd Bundesliga because his working paper expires at 96 in summer. The right foot trained at Karlsruher SC had moved to Hanover in 2021 after three years at Holstein Kiel and played 91 games for the Lower Saxony (two goals, five templates).

“Of course, it was important to us to get an experienced player for the right -back position. We are very happy that we could now have an established second division player with great quality with Jannik. For Jannik, it is now a new role that he will play with us to help the young players and give the team stability,” explained Fürth’s sports director Stephan Fürstner. Coach Thomas Kleine added: “It is great that we now have someone with Jannik in this position who knows how to take responsibility. He is someone who has a very good dynamic, but also a good technique. He can help us both in the game structure and then attack it offensive.”

Dehm said: “I am looking forward to the new task here at the Kleeblatt. It is very exciting to see what the responsible people build here, so they quickly convinced me because I can take on more responsibility here and also have an order to take the young players at hand. I am happy to start again next week with this team.”
