Janni Hussi will return to Radio Suomipop in the summer.

Radio Suomipop will start on Monday, June 29 Grasshoppermorning program called The channel says in its announcement that Heinälypsy is part of Radio Suomipop’s 25th anniversary.

The program is hosted by presenters Mia “Millu” HaatajaChristoffer Strandberg, Janni Hussi and Shirly Karvinen. The quartet will be heard in changing lineups throughout July on Suomipop’s weekday mornings from June 29 to July 31. The four make a total of 25 weekday mornings.

Hussi might be the biggest surprise in the line-up, as Hussi has hosted Radio Suomipop’s morning program Aamulypsy before. Hussi left the radio in 2023 to focus on his rally career and balance his own everyday life.

Karvinen is also making a return to radio. He hosted radio on the Basso channel from 2020 to 2022.

– It’s great to return to the radio for the summer after a short break and reach people’s ears at summer cottages, on the road and on dune mornings. And what’s more, when you get to work with such hard workers and for such a legendary radio channel. This group will definitely not be bored! Shirly Karvinen says in the channel’s announcement.

Haataja is known from the Loop radio channel. Strandberg has a background in broadcasting from the Yle X3M channel.
