Hussi and Harkimo will see each other next time in May.
Janni Hussi and Joel Harkimo have to make big sacrifices in their relationship as Harkimo prepares for his round-the-world sailing trip starting in the fall of 2026.
In February, Harkimo will sail across the Atlantic in order to train.
Hussi, on the other hand, is traveling for the rally at the beginning of the year. He reads sheet music for Jari-Matti Latvala in the EC series of historic rallies and works in Takamoto Katsuta’s front car in the World Series.
The couple will now have to be apart for a long time.

In the following story, the rally lady showed off her grocery shopping in Tallard, France. The village is located near Monte Carlo, where the World Rally Championship starts next weekend.
Harkimo has already sailed across the Atlantic three times before. Now he is going on a trip alone for the first time.
– If I said it wasn’t exciting, I’d be talking nonsense. Of course it’s exciting, Harkimo said at a press conference at the beginning of January.
The trip from Cascais, Portugal to Antigua takes about 35 days. The length of the journey is approximately 7,400 kilometers.
