Janis Timma played for the Latvia national basketball team. Now the professional has died – an NBA star is mourning.
Sad news for the basketball world: Latvian professional Janis Timma has been found dead in Russia. He was only 32 years old. Rescue workers had confirmed to the Russian news agency Tass that his body was found at the entrance to a residential building in Moscow. The cause of death is not yet known, but the case is said to have been classified as suicide.
The Latvian Basketball Association confirmed the death and wrote on platform 68 games as part of the Latvian national team, scoring 584 points and taking part in the finals of the European Championship and Olympic qualifying tournaments part.”
