Jandino Asporaat can skip all rows at Schiphol because he is a well-known Dutchman. Even security favors him. “Psst Jandino, as soon as you’re checked in, call me. I’ll take you upstairs!”
Dutch celebrities are a lot less bothered by all the mega rows at Schiphol. The airport employees appear to give them preferential treatment. And Jandino Asporaat is not at all ashamed of those privileges. He explains extensively on Instagram how one employee after another is pushing him.
‘Come with me!’
Jandino and his family were much too late at Schiphol because they had forgotten a diaper bag. They only had an hour and a half left to catch their flight to Curaçao. The ordinary man and woman might as well return home in the current summer crowds, but celebrities are not bothered by those mega rows at all.
There was even a malfunction with check-in, explains Jandino. “First angel appears out of nowhere, an orange vest, walkie-talkie, short-shaven hair. “Walk along,” he says in a calm, low voice. What..?? Four minutes later we are just standing at the check-in desk via a strange route. Nod and he disappears among the people. “

The security guards at Schiphol also beat Jandino. “Second angel: ‘Psst Jandino, my name is… Take my number, once you’re checked in, call me, I’ll take you upstairs.’ His jacket said security. And sure enough, Jandino was allowed to unabashedly push ahead there too, so that people who were on time had to wait longer. “Angel number three: ‘Hey Jandino, you bring so much positivity, that should be rewarded. You and your family come along.’ He brings us all the way forward, have a nice flight. How then this? “
Once he arrived on the plane, Jandino said he also received a free upgrade to business class from KLM. He left his wife and their children in economy class.
VIP treatment
Many people point out to Jandino that he does not have an angel on his shoulder, but that this is just the common favor of celebrities. “We ordinary people never have this, do they ?”, Linda responds. And Rosita: “Oh, how nice it is to be a famous Dutch person. “
