Jan Vapaavuori won the trust of the Olympic Committee

The Olympic Committee gave its confidence to Chairman Jan Vapaavuori.

Chairman of the Finnish Olympic Committee Jan Vapaavuori has obtained the confidence in the advisory vote by 72 to 22 votes. Seven of the votes were blank.

The vote at the extraordinary meeting is not legally valid but was intended to measure the confidence enjoyed by Vapaavuori and the vice-chairmen.

In addition to the Free Mountain, members of the presidium received trust Susanna Rahkamo and Sari Multala.

Vapaavuori, Rahkamo and Multala have been the subject of criticism after Yle reported that the resigned top sports director Mika Lehtimäki warning.
