SC Freiburg struck the transfer market. The Bundesliga club brings Jan-Niklas best back to Germany.
Jan-Niklas Best comes back to the Bundesliga. The wing player moves from Benfica Lisbon to SC Freiburg. According to the “kicker”, the Freiburg pays the club record losses of eight million euros.
“I have a lot of desire for the Bundesliga and in the conversations with the sports club, the chemistry was right. It is in my nature to always blow myself in-I would like to bring that in at the sports club from the very first day,” said Best.
Best moved to Portugal as the shooting star of the 1st FC Heidenheim at the beginning of this season. There, however, he did not get beyond the role of the supplementary player. He played a total of 22 competitive games in which he scored twice and prepared two goals.
