Two days after Jamie Lee Curtis announced the death of her sister Kelly Lee Curtis at the age of 69, New details about the cause of death have now come to light.

The actress, who was born as the eldest daughter of Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh, died of natural causes, the Blaine County Mortuary Office in Idaho confirmed to US Weekly. Accordingly, she was in inpatient palliative care in the week before her death on May 30th.

In her obituary for her sister, Jamie described her as her “first friend and lifelong confidante.” Jamie continued: “She was breathtakingly beautiful and a talented actress. She played hearts with ferocity, collected turtles, loved her family, nature, music, thrift shopping, traveling, Facebook and Pokémon Go. She was proud of her Danish roots and Hungarian-Jewish ancestry and was a staunch American patriot.”
