You can do anything to good guy Steven Kazàn, but he doesn’t get angry. Even now that his ex-lover Jamie Kames has cheated on him with someone else, namely with carnival artist Vieze Jack, he would prefer that she just come back to live at home as soon as possible. Jamie has made a big mess and the outside world blames her for that, because there is also a child involved. The reactions were very intense, she says in the Weekend.
“I’ve always said: ‘Why do I care what Gerda from Urk thinks about me?’ But when Gerda from Urk actually sends you a terrible message, it takes some getting used to. I had never experienced that before.”
Luxury position
Before, there was never anything wrong with the Kazàntjes. “We have always received nothing but positivity and that is a luxury of course. But that’s just how it was. Many messages have come out in recent months that were not entirely the reality, let’s put it that way.”
“And then you see Gerda from Urk writing very angry things. But that is someone who does not know me, who does not know the situation, who believes that what is written somewhere is the truth and has a strong opinion about it. To what extent should I care about that? At a certain point you learn to put that into perspective and let it go.”
