Difficult past and drug addiction
The actor kept his private life protected from the public eye until the end. However, he spoke openly about traumatic experiences from his past: In 2021, Ransone made public that he had been sexually abused by a teacher as a child. He had reported the attacks a year earlier, but the responsible authorities did not take any criminal action due to a lack of evidence, according to Page Six.
