James Harden debuted this Friday at the Philadelphia 76ers with a splendid performance and formed a great partnership with Joel Embiid to destroy the Minnesota Timberwolves (102-133).

After his much talked about transfer from the Brooklyn Nets to the Sixers on the last day of the NBA transfer market, Harden finally debuted with his new team and had 27 points (7 of 12 shooting), 8 rebounds and 12 assists . Harden, who started as a starter and whose first basket with his new team was a two plus one, made a fearsome duo with Joel Embiid, who after the All-Star continues at an exceptional level and who today got 34 points (10 of 18 in shots), 10 rebounds and 3 assists. As if that were not enough, the Sixers also had Tyrese Maxey who was excellent in shooting (28 points on 12-of-16 shooting). In this way, Harden scored his first win with the Sixers in a game they dominated from start to finish against the Wolves.

The key to the game was shooting from the perimeter, as the Sixers shot a fantastic 48.7% from 3-point range (19 of 39) while the Wolves collapsed with a meager 23.1% (9 of 39). The American of Dominican origin Karl-Anthony Towns was the best of the Wolves and added 25 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

After a disappointing experience with the Nets of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Harden landed on the Sixers alongside Paul Millsap in exchange for the much-discussed Ben Simmons, Seth Curry and Andre Drummond.
