Jambon scraps the current pension bonus as soon as possible: intervention must yield 476 million euros

Minister of Pensions Jan Jambon (N-VA) wants to work on the abolition of the current pension bonus as soon as possible. That procedure would yield 476 million euros by 2029. The bonus was introduced by the previous government. “But the European Commission did not appreciate it,” said Jambon. Those who now enjoy the pension bonus will not lose those rights.
