Jamal Musiala before departure? Herbert Hainer reacts to rumors

In the last few days and weeks, speculation about the transfer of national player Jamal Musiala from FC Bayern has gained increasing momentum. President Herbert Hainer comments on the rumors – and reveals the German record champions’ plan with the offensive jewel.

Jamal Musiala shone again in FC Bayern’s historic 8-0 (0-0) win against Darmstadt 98. The 20-year-old scored a brace in the memorable second half (60th/67th). Musiala also scored in the 3-1 win at Galatasaray during the week.

Under coach Thomas Tuchel, the youngster is set without any ifs and buts. Alongside Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sané and Harry Kane, Musiala is part of the most successful offensive department in FC Bayern’s history in the Bundesliga at this point in the season.

So it’s no wonder that he is said to have aroused the desires of numerous top clubs from abroad. Real Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool FC should follow Musiala’s situation particularly closely, it was recently said.

FC Bayern and its president Herbert Hainer remain calm in the face of these rumors. “When other clubs look at Jamal Musiala, it doesn’t surprise us at all because he is an outstanding player,” the former Adidas CEO told the Munich “Abendzeitung”.

“No rush” at FC Bayern and Jamal Musiala

“He has a contract with us until 2026 and knows what he has at FC Bayern, that all doors are open to him here,” added Hainer. “I would like to have him with us for a very long time. There is no rush on either side.”

In fact, according to “Sky”, there will be no concrete negotiations about expanding the cooperation in the near future. There was only a loose exchange with Musiala’s management, the TV station reported.

A problem from FC Bayern’s perspective: Musiala is currently said to “only” earn around nine million per year in Munich and is therefore far from being one of the top earners in the squad.

Real and especially the clubs in the English Premier League could probably lure him with completely different sums.
