Jahn Regensburg: Agyemang Diawusie died at the age of 25

Jahn Regensburg’s Agyemang Diawusie has died at the age of 25. The club announced this on Tuesday. The people of Upper Palatinate did not go into the background. “The Jahn family mourns with the bereaved and their thoughts are with Agyemang’s family, relatives, close friends and companions. Because of the terrible situation and out of respect for his family, we ask that their privacy be respected,” the club said in a statement.

Diawusie came into professional football from the Regensburg youth ranks via the youth teams of 1. FC Nürnberg and RB Leipzig, where the Berlin native with Ghanaian roots played for Wehen Wiesbaden, Ingolstadt and Dynamo Dresden. Diawusie spent a half-series in Austria at SV Ried before moving to Bayreuth at the beginning of this year and back to Regensburg shortly afterwards. The former junior national player played his last competitive game for SSV on November 4th. On November 16th he was on the pitch in Regensburg’s friendly against FC Augsburg.
