Jada Borsato will not yet perform on Saturday during the festivities surrounding the Alkmaar Pride. The 23-year-old singer, who last week with her mother Leontine Ruiters was involved in a serious traffic accident in Ibiza, is replaced by Samantha Steenwijk.
“Unfortunately, Jada Borsato cannot be there on Saturday, but we will have a great replacement in return: Samantha Steenwijk,” the organization reports. Borsato would perform at the Waagplein, where she was one of the headliners.
The singer and her mother were in a taxi that collided head-on with a motorist who had ended up on the wrong side of the road. The two had to go to a hospital after the accident, from which they have now been released. On Wednesday, Ruiters reported that they are doing well ‘under the circumstances’.
