Jasmmi Joensuu secured the victory of the Sprint Skiing World Cup in Tallinn on Wednesday evening. Joensuu is the first Finnish Sprint Cup winner since Virpi Sarasvuo (born Kuitunen) and the 2006-07 season.

Vepsäläinen admits that a five -digit amount may cooperate with Joensuu. Success will certainly make it easier to sell an athlete in the future.
– In skiing, success fees are lower than in many other sports. Nowadays it is easier to approach companies. Everyone already knows Jasmin’s name. All partners are equally important to us.
